I paint for fun and I accidentally got brown oil paint onto my carpet.. this was about two months ago and I just now noticed it (yea, it's in my dining room which I never go in and therefore never have to vacuum or anything) but today I found two spots of brown oil paint.. make up remover! like ponds.. some kind of cold cream. it contains mineral oil so the oils will bond together and after A LOT of working at it.. it should come out..
ponds is also great for removing makeup from clothes. ;)

Try making a paste out of oxi-clean and letting it soak.
